Las Vegas has always remained popular travel destination among tourists. Famous for its casinos, night life, and unlimited entertainment options, the city has much more to offer in the name of recreation. The best thing about Las Vegas is that it combines the characteristics of all popular cities around the globe. Being in Las Vegas means to have the feeling of being in Rome, Paris, London and New York; in all major cites of the world at the same time.
Hearing the name of Las Vegas all that comes to mind is the entertainment and night life. In reality, there is a diverse range of activities that one can do in the city. Places like Hoover Dam and mountainous land scape doesn’t let the locality to miss the touch of nature.
Apart from paying visits to casinos and other such attractions, one must do these five things while being in Las Vegas.
Riding the High Roller
Located in the Las Vegas, a strip of paradise, 550ft, tall Ferris wheel called the High Roller provides a great aerial view in an enchanting way. The best thing is that one can view Las Vegas, Airports, casinos, hotels and museums and other such attractions from the top. While riding the large Ferris wheel may appear a common thing, in reality, it offers quite a cool experience. Looking for the city attractions through a smooth and slow ride is a wonderful activity indeed.
Usually, the best time to ride High Roller is when the sun is coming down. City lights are turning on at the time of sun-set, present a spectacular view. Looking at the entire Las Vegas attractions with a 360 angle is a worth doing the activity. If you are short on time and can’t pay a visit to any single attraction personally, then do ride this wheel. You would end up saving your time while feasting upon every sight of this magical city.
Eating at the World Class Restaurants
Las Vegas is the hub of world-class eateries that offer unique meals. American, Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Russian, Continental and any special kind of food are easily available in Las Vegas. There is no way for a tourist to not find any eatable for satisfying his taste buds. The city is also home to some of the fine steaks around the globe. Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Indian and Italian restaurants offer food in their traditional style. Restaurants are simply an amalgam of interior and taste and make the dining out experience a worth preserving memory.
We really enjoy the buffet lunches. The best we have had is the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. The Grand Lux is a good simple place at the Venetian. The food is so good everywhere, I will do a blog just on restaurants. So, stay tuned.
As mentioned earlier, while being in Las Vegas means to be in the every single city in the world; At least, quality and abundance of restaurant that provide special food items from all over the world, prove this.
Witnessing the Marvelous Fountain Show at Bellagio
Being in Las Vegas is not all about gaining and losing in casinos. It is about getting mesmerized while seeing the enchanting scenes. The good thing about Las Vegas is that city never fails to surprise. One most surprising feature is the breath taking fountain show at Bellagio which is an American Italian Villa. Located in front of a resort, fountains which are a combination of 12 geysers joined present a free to view sight. The dancing waters at Bellagio are covering an area of 8 to 12 acre.
They are quite unique in the entire world and unprecedented in term of spectacular view they offer. Fountains dance to the tunes of music. In the afternoon they erupt after every 30 minutes while in the evening they show their stunts after successive 15 minutes and continue until midnight.
Seeing a Show at a Casino
Las Vegas is an entertainment hub. It is hardly possible for someone to leave the city without attending any musical concert or some fine theatrical performance. Visitors are also lucky enough to see the glance of their favorite stars, which frequently pay visits to this place.
Theatre houses and production companies in Las Vegas, always have something to provide that can cater to interests of people. Just make sure to have a look at the calendar of events while you step in the city. There is always chance to witness some live performances from the entertainment industry heavy weights.
Riding a Gondola at Venetian
Las Vegas never fails to defend its title of providing all at one place. Gondola, an elongated cylindrical boat, which is commonly used in Venice, Italy,
offers an amazing water ride. Gondolas along with St. Mark Square make someone have the feeling of being in Venice. But driving an Italian boat in an environment surrounded by casinos has its own charm; this is something that can only be found at casinos.

We have never eaten at these kinds of places on a trip to Vegas. I really want to try and do this next time. I also love the Bellagio fountains! One of my favorite things.
Hi Mandy,
You really should try some of the great Las Vegas restaurants. There are so many good ones it is hard to choose where to go next. In fact, just yesterday I was talking with a friend and she convinced me that we have to try the Studio B buffet at the M Resort. She says it is better than the buffet at Casaers Palace which is saying a lot. I will have to put my thoughts in a post when I get back from the July Las Vegas trip.
Tripspin does have a lifestyle area where you can get discounts on restaurant gist cards. Things like Senor Frogs buy a $50 gift certificate for $20. Another good way to save. So, don’t forget to register for your free lifetime Tripspin SNAP account today at http://zhangxin.tripspin.com/snap .
